Ghost settings panel after boot

I have zVirtualDesktop set to start automatically. After Windows has started up, pressing Alt+Tab shows a settings panel that is not actually there (if I try to activate it, nothing is shown). I have to open the setting panel (from the icon in the traybar) and close it, then the ghost settings panel disappears from the Alt+Tab list.
