I've got a BlackIce-I board (Not sure precisely which revision. I've compiled the firmware and blink examples in this repository and they seem to be working. The post here: https://mystorm.uk/blackice-build-update/ says that some pin assignments have been reassigned. Hopefully the only change necessary will be to use a different pcf file.
Would it make sense to add the original blackice.pcf (found here) to this repo and make it an option when building?

I second this. I have Blackice-I board also and I tried to build examples. I built blink example, but it requires not only .pcf file, but chip.v from the same project as well.
Also, it is mentioned somewhere that because of conflict with RAM some PLL modes are unavailable for it. I would like to know more details about it as well.
