Send via TOR using the QT Wallet
To follow this tutorial, you will need the following:
- Up-to-date MWC QT-Wallet Software: https://github.com/mwcproject/mwc-qt-wallet/releases
- An active Internet Connection
- TOR is running (Runs by default)
First let's lay out the overall procedure, more detailed instructions with screenshots are below:
- Select the "Send" Tab
- Enter the Amount you wish to send
- click on "Next"
- Enter the Receiving TOR Address in the "Send to" Field
- Click Send
- If you have registered HODL Coins you will see a Dialog to doublecheck the Outputs that are spent. If you want to spend those Outputs confirm by clicking "Continue"
- Confirm typing your password and wait for the transaction to confirm
- Select the "Send" Tab of your Wallet and enter the Amount you want to send:

Enter the receiving Address and click "Send"

Confirm by clicking "Continue" and enter your password

To check the current status of the transaction the receiver can go in the Transaction tab. We will need at least to wait 2 min to see it as confirmed.

Once the transaction is confirmed and sent, the recipient needs to wait for enough confirmations (set to 10 blocks by default) to spend the fund received recently.

Once 10 confirmations (10 minutes) are reached, the recipient received his fund and can spend it directly after.
If TOR is listed in the Status Bar on the Bottom (2) TOR is online:
You can also manually Check in the Listeners page by doing the following:

Start and unlock your wallet

Enter the Listener Settings by clicking the Gear Icon and selecting "Listeners"

Verify that the Status of TOR is "Online"
