Bug: Android build instructions do not work/lack detail for use without eas #510

Describe the bug

The build process is unclear.

To reproduce

  • clone repo
  • (install pnpm)
  • $ pnpm install - produced issue with sharp so had to install manually
  • attempt dev build - initially comments in the env caused errors and after removing gave errors relating to eas (appears not optional)
  • created expo repo, to be met by unclear error about GraphQL failing
  • after this, i gave up, tried the dockerfile which gives errors about clients requiring sql
