Affected FxA version:

  • 1.253.2

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Go to the Sign In page (https://accounts.firefox.com/signin);
  2. Launch the Terms of Service (https://accounts.firefox.com/en/legal/terms) and Privacy Notice (https://accounts.firefox.com/en/legal/privacy) pages;
  3. Scroll down to the connected services section;
  4. Compare the two pages;

Alternative:

  1. Go to and pages;
  2. Scroll down to where the Mozilla connected services are listed;
  3. Compare the two sections on the pages ;

Expected results:

  • Connected services Info on both pages is the same. No inconsistencies or typos;

Actual results:

  • There is a typo and an inconsistency on the Connected services info between the pages:
    1.On the Privacy Notice page the Pocket service is missing from the list;
    2.On the Terms of Service page the Firefox Sync service is spelled with a small “s”;

Notes:

  • Issue was noticed both on stage and on production;

The one on the left was changed a year ago (April 10, 2022)
https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/about/legal/terms/services/

To be clear, "sync" is correct lowercase.

The second page was updated later, but is inconsistent

https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/privacy/firefox/

Given the second is about Firefox, I have no idea if it should include Pocket, that would be for @mafeld to decide.

We should include Pocket on these pages.
