Usb camera resolution change

Good evening to everyone,
i'm running motion eye on a rpi zero 2w with dietpi as distro.
I've multiple camera that use CSI connection, and only one that use a usb camera.

The problem is that even if i try to change the resolution nothing change, the screenshot and the streaming remain at 640x480.

The camera is fully working, i've tried with 2 different one and on windows they work well.

Some suggestion?
