Describe the bug
I have Telegram notifications setup:

tgram://bit token here/-channel here

it works fine when I test in Bazarr:

However, when bazarr finds a subtitle, i get no notifications and this in the log file:

Failed to send Telegram notification to -xxx: Bad Request: can't parse entities: Character '(' is reserved and must be escaped with the preceding '\'

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Search for subtitles
  2. look in bazarr logs

Expected behavior
Notification coming to telegram channel.

Software (please complete the following information):

  • Bazarr: [e.g. v 1.5.1]
  • OS: [Linux, unraid]

Did you try our nightly release that has the latest apprise version embedded and may already include a fix for that?
