Currently, Moonlight (portable) writes a log whenever you launch it by default and there does not seem to be any mechanism by which to disable this functionality.
Proposed Solution
Moonlight should have a logging and logging verbosity option.
Alternative Solutions
A launch flag would also be sufficient. Similarly, writing the log to stdout or a similar buffer by default. Also for my particular situation, allowing logs to be stored in a specified location would help.
Context
I use Moonlight on embedded and light systems but with the portable Windows QT release on a network drive. The automatic generation of logs both causes unnecessary I/O on the server and bloats the Moonlight directory.
