Not a bug, but is there any plans to upgrade serde_with in bson and mongo libraries or make it more loose?
Version 2 of serde_with has been out for a long time and now they have even version 3

Hi! You're right, our helpers are out of date - I've filed https://jira.mongodb.org/browse/RUST-1669 to track making newer ones. Are you blocked on this functionality? Right now it's not high priority for us.
