I noticed excess CPU usage, tens of thousands of git processes in the uninterruptible wait state, and logs spamming many times a second like:

2024-07-20 11:55:54.149 [info] loading blame: /path/to/repo/foo.py
2024-07-20 11:55:54.159 [info] /path/to/repo: detected HEAD change from Symbol(uncommited) to Symbol(uncommited)
