I would like to add a discussion point about adding generic tags on releases nicoespeon/gitgraph.js#143 so the build instructions could be generic and always applicable. For example git checkout master/beta/stable would always build the expected release regardless of the version we're at

@johndavies24 as this is related to release process, would you mind if it’s covered in the Jan 7 dev meeting instead? #231

Yeah, of course. I am also not sure how difficult/easy it would be. But being able to run a script that builds --stable (or --beta prior to hardforks) would be nice.

I'm unable to attend the meeting this afternoon. I'll catch up on keybase later on.

I just realised we never discussed your suggestion on last dev meeting @johndavies24, I forgot to add it to the agenda and it slipped between cracks. I'm sorry about that. I've added it to the next dev meeting: #241
