Hey,

just a reminder that we should have a ML. Also add it to gmane.org, so it is archived and usable.

Is this really still being considered? Otherwise I'd like to close the issue.

There is a pretty strong need for a good event system in python and this module fits the bill. A mailing list might be useful while it's under active development. Otherwise I suppose we can communicate through github.

For example, I have a question about a design choice in obsub I'd like to ask, but no good way to ask it.

I prefere something more easy to archive for discussing principle matters.

I prefere [sic] something more easy to archive for discussing principle matters.

Do you mean more easy than github? If so then we're in agreement.

Well, I finally took the time to setup mailman on my server, which I wanted to do for ages… anyway, we can use that for obsub. Subscribe here to [email protected]. I'll submit a pull request for the readme later.

Would it be ok if I added it to gmane, a ML archive and ml2nntp gateway?

Go ahead. It's archived on my server as well, of course. But I guess, redundancy can't hurt and the gateway might be of use for some, too.
