I have an issue with toHexString and I get this trace when i use cache

Then create a reproduction. Your problem is not in the compiled function, but rather in what the value is - clearly it is not an objectid, which it should be.

Entity definition is not a reproduction. The problem is in the value, not in how you define entities.

But I already got it reproduced.
