Thanks for the effort, but there are a few too many little things in here that would need to be fixed or changed, so I decided to spin my own solution that should have the same functionality as yours. Hope that's OK.

You can adjust the output filenames to your needs by using a config file and setting a filename format string. Same goes for the archive ID format string. No need to change global defaults.

Of course all good. My changes were very hacky 😁 but everything else worked great thanks for making gallery DL available.
