The UPGRADE packet can sometimes come with a payload. The BestHTTP Socket.IO client sends it as a 52 instead of just a 5. See miguelgrinberg/Flask-SocketIO#175 for details.

The engineio upgrade should allow these payloads and still carry out the upgrade.
