Terminal Quick Fix never shows up #184442
Comments
what program are you using for the styling of your prompt? this won't work when using things like powerlevel10k |
Oh shoot! That's exactly what I'm using. What are my options? Is there any solution aside from disabling powerlevel10k? |
unfortunately not, the latest issue related to this is here if you're curious |
I found this comment there[1]:
Is there an issue / feature request to document terminal extensions and to enable terminal extension development for non-Microsoft developers? |
Yes, we're tracking that here #145234 |
Type: Bug
I don't know what could be wrong with my setup. I cannot get Terminal Quick Fix to show up. I had 1.71.0 version and updated to 1.78.2 today. I created a separate profile*, reloaded with disabled extensions, tried insiders build, ...
*this (Profiles functionality) is built in such an unintuitive way... It's great and I'd love to use it, but I feel like I have never used a computer before, when I try to figure out how to use different profiles...Please fix this...
Here's the screen recording (it's the same in Insiders):
