To test:

• Open a git repo that has been cloned to your local machine
• Checkout a new git branch without publishing it to your remote
• Make some uncommitted changes
• From the remote indicator select Continue Working in a New Codespace and go through the Continue On flow, choosing GitHub for the sign in method when prompted
• You should be prompted about whether to auto publish your branch
• A new codespace should open for your branch with your changes
