As a continuation of #155910, it'd be great to have some sort of UX that informs the user that a git repo was found but is untrusted perhaps along with a button (or some other action) to mark it as trusted.

I just discovered that Visual Studio has a UX that appears in the Git Changes window, but the link doesn't work unless you're running VS in admin mode. (Then when you do, the app has access and doesn't show the UX.)
