Does this issue occur when all extensions are disabled?: Yes

  • VS Code Version:
Version: 1.66.2
Commit: dfd34e8260c270da74b5c2d86d61aee4b6d56977
Date: 2022-04-11T07:44:45.971Z (1 wk ago)
  • OS Version: N/A

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Throttle your internet connection to "slow coffee shop wireless". The google speed test says 6 down and 0.5 up at the moment.
  2. Open a codespaces from a github repository. If you can view logs try looking up "https://joshunger-alltrails-monorepo-vwp5jrpf5p5.github.dev/".
  3. Open source control tab.

EXPECTING: source control tab recognizes repository.
ACTUAL: source control tab does not recognize repository.

On a slow internet connection, this reproduces 90%+ of the time. On a fast internet connection, 100 down, I haven't seen it.
