Impossible to install python extension from VSIX (others extensions is working) #238857

Since yesterday I cannot install Python extension from VSIX file. The following error appears :

DownloadFailedWriting: End of central directory record signature not found. Either not a zip file, or file is truncated., Impossible d'écrire le fichier 'c:\Users\H622886\AppData\Roaming\Code\CachedExtensionVSIXs.9dfba4da-b892-425e-85dd-198e609947e8' (Error: net::ERR_CONTENT_LENGTH_MISMATCH), Impossible d'écrire le fichier 'c:\Users\H622886\AppData\Roaming\Code\CachedExtensionVSIXs.3152a718-a14d-41f7-a265-7e9a9e8bbb50' (Error: net::ERR_CONTENT_LENGTH_MISMATCH)

Seems the VSIX is invalid. Please have the complete VSIX and retry.

No need to upload, but why are you trying to install the VSIX? You should be able to install it directly from extensions view? Are there issues doing that?

Yes, I've issues for both installation methodology

Can you please elaborate what issue you are seeing when you are trying to install the extension directly?
