Given the vast number of ways Python and Jupyter can be installed and maintained it is very common to run into problems when trying to run notebooks with your selected kernel or interpreter. If you are experiencing problems finding or starting Jupyter kernels, or they are behaving badly in some way, please be sure to check out our Troubleshooting Guide. If this doesn't help, please ask within this forum or open a new issue.

Here are some issues we are aware of that can affect a significant number of users. Some may have workarounds posted:

• Kernels using 32-bit Python environments installed via conda does not work #9134
• xeus Python kernel is currently not supported (hence hidden) #5469
