Set-ExecutionPolicy Bypass -Scope Process -Force
.\collect-wsl-logs.ps1

The script will output the path of the log file once done.

If this is a networking issue, please use collect-networking-logs.ps1, following the instructions here

Once completed please upload the output files to this Github issue.

@Stanzilla could you please put commands or screenshots on how you are creating the links and how you are trying to access them? I made a test with the latest released version and it works as always:

Looks like OP is trying to make a symlink like this: mklink /d c:\eli \wsl\Ubuntu-18.04\home\eli

Yes, basically my use case is that a program running in WSL needs to follow symlinks created in Windows to a WSL drive

I recommend, changing the title to be more specific, and add the examples to the description, so it can be noticed by maintainers. Even though you put the links to the other issue
