Repro Steps

1. Use SUBST to create a new drive letter from an existing path.
2. Add a folder on the new drive to the PATH.
3. Start a new terminal (so that the new PATH is loaded).
4. Start Ubuntu and observe the error as the first line in the Ubuntu terminal window.

Expected Behavior

I expect a valid path to actually be valid. I don't expect a program to exclude specific drives based on what type of drive they might be. I don't expect a path error naming an existing location every time I start Ubuntu.

Actual Behavior

These are always the first two lines in my Ubuntu terminal window:

Set-ExecutionPolicy Bypass -Scope Process -Force
.\collect-wsl-logs.ps1

The script will output the path of the log file once done.

If this is a networking issue, please use collect-networking-logs.ps1, following the instructions here

Once completed please upload the output files to this Github issue.

For any humans looking at this, there may have been issues with the log collection (though the only activity that should've been logged is me opening a Ubuntu window in Terminal). Here's the output I saw:
