Issues regarding Keyboard Shortcut Manager

There's another issue on the tracker that's pretty much the same thing.
Description of the new feature / enhancement
Allow to use different keyboards - with different key layouts - with the Keyboard manager, esp. the remapping of the keys.
Background: I have two different keyboards for my work laptop: One in the office and one for working from home.
These keyboards (Microsoft and Logitech) have slightly different keyboard layout for Home/End/PgUp/PgDown/PrintScr etc.
I would like to be able to use the same logical keyboard layout for both, for which I can use the remapping feature. However when I move from one place to the other, I need the delete all mapping or recreate them from scratch. This is not very practical.
So my idea is to be able have switchable configs for keyboard and shortcut mappings.
Scenario when this would be used?
See above: To allow to use different keyboards in different environments. For example: One keyboard in the office, one for working from home and the actual laptop keyboard when traveling.
