Application Inspector does not collect or send telemetry to Microsoft or anywhere. Application Inspector may be used for scanning sensitive and proprietary source code and will never send information about source code to any entity so your data stays yours.
A recent change in the security permissions have impacted the app unless changes are made through the system settings to allow .Net Core apps to run without notice warnings. See issue #124 for more.
