ninja uninstall leaves python bytecode files untouched

I'm brand new to meson, but I don't see anything in the documentation about how to ensure ninja uninstall properly cleans up the bytecode files that got installed. If there is something I should be doing to ensure this clean up occurs, having that in the documentation would be much appreciated. If this is currently unsupported but could become supported, that support would also be much appreciated.
