Meilisearch v1.10.3 (released on October 10, 2024) introduces a new experimental cli flag to control the number of searches processed concurrently per core.
Even though Meilisearch cannot process all search requests at once, depending on the workflow, it can still process more than one search per core without decreasing its speed.
By default, Meilisearch, this value is set to 4 searches per core.
If you notice very little CPU, RAM, and disk usage (read iops) you can try increasing this number. But making it too high may actually slow down all the searches, so take care while modifying this value and try to measure the impact on the time to process a search request.
