Double drops glitch through wall/ceiling

We have an issue that mcMMO double drops for mining are getting stuck inside blocks in the ceiling/wall. This causes them to appear in random places, often on top of the ground, many blocks above the mine. This only seems to affect double drops, not the original drops from vanilla. When mcMMO is disabled, the items drop regularly.
