Hi - some people are interested in running a MAZI zone but have asked if they can send and receive email through it, when it is only occasionally connected to the internet. The idea is that people use the MAZI zone as a local server for the other MAZI applications, but can also use it as a route to the internet, so they've been asking if it will support periodic email services. Some basic questions:
(1) Does that mean we'd need to put a mail server on the MAZI zone so it collect together emails and then send (and receive) when a connection to the internet is available? It is likely it will have access to the internet for a few hours each night, but definitely not all the time.
(2) If so, can you recommend a suitable mail server? (I've seen some help guides for a few options for a Raspberry Pi but perhaps somebody has some proven experience of running mail servers on low powered computers).
Thanks!
