How to troubleshoot "the bridge config denies bridging this channel"

I've followed the public documentation to set up a Slack bridge but when attempting to link rooms, I get:

[Main] Found ####### for token
[Main] Channel ####### is not allowed to be bridged
[AdminCommands] Failed to link channel Error: The bridge config denies bridging this channel

I haven't been able to find any documentation on this particular error or how to troubleshoot. Can someone send me in the right direction?

This sounds like an effect of the channel_adl option in the bridge config – I'd assume your channel falls under the Deny rules in your configuration.
