I propose adding a new menu item under the file menu called "Export to HTML", with two options:

  • Exporting all the characters supported in the current font, assigned with the current font using a regular CSS rule.
  • Exporting all the Unicode characters, assigned also with the current font as a default font using a regular CSS rule.

The output HTML would display results as a set of tables as shown here:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Emoji#Unicode_blocks

oops..!
However, I coudn't find Character Map here. Is this mean it's not a part of Mate desktop anymore?
