The GitHub Markdown rendering is applying Latex Math formatting to one line - https://docs.github.com/en/get-started/writing-on-github/working-with-advanced-formatting/writing-mathematical-expressions

It's because it is seeing multiple $ and getting confused. I'll send a quick PR to fix.
