If you are running nwipe from a distro other than ShredOS the logs are sent to stdout, i.e the screen. They are not written to a file unless you specify --logfile=some filename.txt as a command line option. So when you start nwipe you type With ShredOS it handles creation of a time stamped log file automatically so you don't need to specify the option. The PDF certificate will get created automatically whether you are running from ShredOS or some other distro as long as you are running a recent version and PDF creation is enabled in nwipe. (Default is PDF enabled). |
