[BUG] Only ask for administrator rights once for each batch of processes not working #3140
Comments
Are you seeing multiple |
I see one UniGetUI Elevator prompt when clicking the install with admin rights button inside the app. I would expect the same prompt to appear when clicking on the actualize all (Alles aktualisieren) button shown above when the Only ask for administrator rights once for each batch of processes function is activated inside the settings. However, nothing appears in this case... |
In that case, UniGetUI elevator prompt will show only when an operation requests rights. If no operation requests UAC rights, then no prompt will be shown |
Ok. Can't I configure UniGetUI to always show me that dialogue once when I want to update all my apps (instead of showing me the prompt for each app that needs elevated rights)? |
No, this feature is supposed to show it the first time. The second time an operation requires rights, no prompt should be shown. You should be seeing between 0 and 1 UAC prompts |
I see. But this is not working here. When I click the actualize all (alles aktualisieren) button that you see on my pic above, no single UniGetUI elevator promp appears. How can I make this prompt appear once after I click on the actualize all button? |
I am seeing the same thing. |
To do this, you need to enable "Elevate all operations" under Administrator rights settings. |
I see. I didn't want to do this as you don't recommend it. Was thinkingbthat the second option there would do the trick |

Describe your issue
Good day. I think the Only ask for administrator rights once for each batch of processes function isn't working properly.
If the option is selected in the UniGetUI settings and I click on "Actualize all"...
...I'm not getting the screen with the UniGet Elevator that allows me to install the apps with admin rights (what happens after I click the install with admin rights button).
Is this an error or does UniGetUI not want me to install my batch of processes with admin rights if I configured this before in the settings? Or do I have to activate this function: Only once after administrator rights (not recommended)?
Thanks!
