Jetbrains - Intellij windows not being recognized #8
Comments
Hi, Julian!
Can you provide a bit more details on your environment? |
Hey, For me Spotify and PHPStorm windows are not recognized Apart from that, great work! |
@kipelovets do you have multiple PHPStorm or Spotify windows or the whole process is not listed? |
@mandrigin only those PHPStorm windows that are in the current space are listed. Fullscreen windows are not listed and nothing is listed if plugin is called in a fullscreen space. Only windows that are in the current space are detected, I've also tried a couple of standard Apple apps. Even windows that are on a second monitor are not listed Spotify, Visual Studio Code and Contacts.app are never listed If I launch ./EnumWindows on a secondary monitor, only windows that are on a primary monitor's current space are listed |
@kipelovets the app is not listing any spaces except the current one, that's a known issue. I'm still researching (when I have time) on how to make it properly. The problem is not in listing windows, but in switching. I didn't find a stable way to switch to a window/tab on an inactive space. |
Hi, sorry for the very late response. My Mac is currently being repaired and I switched to a Dell XPS 15 with Arch Linux and I guess I won't return to OSX anytime soon. Regarding the problem. I was using a multi monitor setup but no spaces. Window switching worked fine for all windows except Intellij. I was using Intellij 2017.1.2 with OpenJDK at this time if i remember correctly. |
Hi,
thank you for this great plugin! It works almost perfect. Sadly it does not recognize windows from Intellij. Can I do something to help you debug this issue?
With kind regards,
Julian
