This is just a fun thing to try but winit 0.30.0 supports setting custom cursor icons from arbitrary images: https://docs.rs/winit/latest/winit/window/struct.CustomCursor.html

A tetatnes-themed 8-bit cursor would be the default with the option for the user to set their own in the preferences.

Requires #238 to be merged first.
