Z-index of number of items too high? #63

I'm having an issue where just the numbers after the filter terms are showing through my drop down menus:

I tried giving the dropdown menu a higher z-index and the ul.ft-menu > li.ft-field > div.ft-panel > ul.ft-tags > li:after a z-index of -1.

Any solutions to this?
