CPU hits 100% after an hour of use

I have set some high settings for testing and left it on, after an hour i found my i7-8700k CPU was sitting on 100%. Not sure what point this happens but there is a loop somewhere.

Could you post the settings (number of threads, multicore, sleep time, etc...) that you used? I can't set any of the settings too high or it'll freeze on my laptop.

Also, was the cpu at around a 100% at the start? If so, I can't do much to fix that.

I've tried 100 threads, 100 actions, 0 delay and on the regular mode. It seems to hover at around 0.5% to 2% usage and stays around there for the duration of testing (20 minutes). There were no memory leaks even through there isn't any manual garbage collection.
