Notes

There is a lot of existing content on the 2R and LI sites that could be used to seed the wiki. This content has been carefully written to provide an overview to relevant themes from a 2R/LI perspective and is therefore highly appropriate for the wiki.

Adding this content to the Wiki more or less unchanged would avoid unnecessary duplication of effort and save time in getting the new Wiki up and running as a usable resource.

It will of course be possible for Wiki contributors to amend and update this content on the Wiki in the future and we should be open to that.

Sounds good. My (ongoing) regret is i want to manage content in markdown format and if possible locally (in obsidian). This i can currently do with notes.lifeitself.org. But i can't do that with mediawiki 😢 However, i see the need to bite the bullet on this - maybe we can return to it later.
