Hello,
I tried on Acer ES1-711-P2UG but didn't work...

Story line:
The laptop had Windows 8 on it, so I installed Ubuntu, after a while I tried to reinstall windows 10 with a new HDD and surprise the BIOS is locked...
I tried with http://bios-pw.org/ but I can't change BIOS supervisor password, it requires the last password used, I tried with the code generated but nothing happened..

I got this laptop from US

Password is case sensitive. If u tried caps, use small letters. If u used small, use caps..

I can access bios with the generated number from here
https://github.com/dogbert/bios-pwgen/blob/master/pwgen-insyde.py

but I can't change the supervisor password...

I don't understand what he means with:
print("Please note that the password is encoded for US QWERTY keyboard layouts.")

I found another one..
Try this: http://biosbug.com/acer/

Same result, it using the same algorithm...

I can get into the BIOS after I enter three invalid passwords with the generated key, but I can't change the current supervisor password with the key inserted in the current password field
