Hi, this is just an early heads-up about the possibility of a work being started on v3 for this library.
Our intention was to stick with v2 for as long as possible, but while probing the best API to handle new key types for jwk (properly), we've bumped into issues that may require changing existing public API (albeit it being a relatively unused one), as well as the need to change which code to use depending on the Go version. This lead us to believe that it might just make sense to fix supported go versions to something newer than go 1.20 and also to bump the major version so that we can safely break the public API.
Nothing is set in stone yet, we may end up not doing it, but we're leaving this here so that you are not taken by surprise when v3 suddenly picks up steam in the future. Also, if you want new features, please file a new issue instead of discussing it here.

As always, thanks for using this library!
