I'm thinking this could be useful especially for improvising and learning.. But I would like to hear other thoughts on it, too.
I'd like it to store and show a little bit of history of the chords\notes that were previously played, especially helping to look back and see how to move between the chords
What do you think?

This has been in my mind for a few months/years, but had no motivation to tackle this yet.
The best improvement i want to make is background recording of MIDI, which would help me greatly to remember my improvisations. And though, being able to record would also allow MIDI Jar to output all chords previously played.
This is in my mind but implementation is not planned, I have a few ideas on how i would do it, but i will have to find a way to store data specifically for this usage (currently, data is stored as JSON in the config file, which is not a good storage for midi notes or higher amounts of data and could have impact on disk usage and CPU usage too).
Also, voicings would also be a data i would like to record (not only chords, but the way they are played).
Awesome, glad to hear you're interested and thinking beyond what I was even. That would be nice to have it record and also tell you what voicings were used, I'm especially interested in that for furthering my piano journey
This tool has been at great and helpful in my process of getting better. So much to learn with piano and I'm not even 2 years into it , but it's life long and excites me so much! :)
