Hi knurling-rs team!

First off, thank you for making this tutorial. It was interesting, informative, and easy to follow.

At the end of the section on displaying sensor data, there's a mention that: "The display still flashes when it is updated, this and other more aesthetic issues will be addressed in the last update of this project, delivered in January."

Any word on resolving those issues or recommendations about how to stop the display flashing?

Thanks a lot

Hi! Thanks for bringing this up. It's possible to update the display partially, but this comes at a certain risk for damaging the display.

I would love to second @emschwartz 's gratitude. This is a great resource. Thank you. I came across this same line and it brought me to this issue:

The display still flashes when it is updated, this and other more aesthetic issues will be addressed in the last update of this project, delivered in January.

Perhaps this resource was never intended to have such longevity. It would be nice to include the advice from @Mirabellensaft in the book or to delete the line or to leave this issue open so that it is more easily discovered.
