Feature description

I have just read the Alerting and Monitoring page, and see Prometheus metrics, but nothing about OpenTelemetry.

I think it would be pertinent to offer OpenTelemtry Log/Trace/Metric exports via OTLP, and use SemanticConventions for Span field names.

OpenTelemetry traces has been provided here: #6817
OpenTelemetry metrics has been provided here: #6995
OpenTelemetry logs will be provided as a log exporter for the new LogShipper functionality (EE only).

For OpenTelemetry traces, we didn't use SemanticConventions (at least for our custom attributes) but we may review the attributes later.

Thanks for the update. Will the Alerting and Monitoring page be updated to reflect these new features?

We will add a dedicated section for OpenTelemetry that will contain traces, metrics and logs.
It will be available for the next release
