Keep search expression the same when switching between databases

I propose [at least as selectable options] such changes:

1] Keep filtering expression in the Search box when cycling through groups

2] Keep filtering expression in the Search box when cycling through databases

3] Add a button to turn ON & OFF appliance of filtering expression

4] Display all entries from a group and its sub-groups when focused on that group

5] Display all entries from a database when focused on main folder of a database

6] Include entries from the Recycle Bin group when filtering [with maybe a caveat of doing so when only whole database is selected?]

7] Add history of searched for and then found expressions [for which functionality ideas I will gladly provide once it will be approved for the to-do-list]

8] Add ability to show frequently used entries (#9441)

Only (2) is a request that would be implemented. The rest are either already features or they won't be implemented.

+1. I'd love to see #2 implemented.

That would be handy. I keep two databases open, work and personal, and I often make an entry in the search with the "wrong" database selected. Having the option to have Search look in all open databases would solve that (some people would find that annoying). But with such an option disabled, it would still be great to have the content of the Search textbox stay in place when selecting a different database.
