Proposal

The Kafka Scaler should be able to use an encrypted private key (PKCS#8) for TLS. The passphrase for the private key is passed through the Kafka Scaler config.

Use-Case

In certain infrastructure setups it's prohibited to store private keys unencrypted

Anything else?
