System tray not showing notification if minimized with that chat open.

Hi I am running the latest version on Pop_OS!, its Ubuntu 18.04 really. When I have a chat open and minimize the app and get a chat from the persons chat I had opened when I minimized the app I dont get the notification. If I select another chat and minimize and that same persoj chats me I get the systray notification. If I have the app opened and have another chat selected and get a chat from the original person I was chatting with in this example I get the in app notification and can quick reply.

Your app is the closest I have come to a fully working solution on Linux any ideas as to if this can be fixed? I only ask since this seems like a limitation of the web version of teams not your app :) .
