Short Summary

I am running hyprland on a computer with no graphics card. When I first tried to launch kando, there was an "unsupported combination" error along with a graphics error that was easily fixed by setting OZONE_PLATFORM_HINT. I had hoped that this would fix the unsupported combination error, but it did not.

That's interesting. On Linux, Kando checks XDG_CURRENT_DESKTOP to know which backend to use. On your system this seems to be set to "hyprland" where Kando expects it to be "Hyprland" (with a capital H).

I'll make this check case insensitive to catch such cases. Can you try running Kando with XDG_CURRENT_DESKTOP=Hyprland?
