22 is a trick question and why I hate standardized testing. A is also correct, its called High Availability.

Q43:
"Which of the following steps should be taken by a customer when conducting penetration testing on AWS?", the correct answer shows as "D. Request and wait for approval from AWS support, and then conduct testing."

This seems to be in direct contradiction with practice Exam 2, Q12:
"According to the AWS Acceptable Use Policy, which of the following statements is true regarding penetration testing of EC2 instances?" and the correct answer shows as "C. Penetration testing can be performed by the customer on their own instances without prior authorization from AWS."

So which is it? Do customers require prior authorization from AWS or not?

From https://aws.amazon.com/security/penetration-testing/, it seems that E2/Q12 is correct, but E8/Q43 is not: pen test is allowed on a limited set of services, and this without approval, or not permitted at all.
