Keep getting logged out

Whenever I try to write a lengthy blog post, I keep getting logged out.

When I click save to publish a post, it doesn't report an error or anything, the button just becomes disabled.

The admin interface pretends I'm still logged in, but doesn't show any content or posts anymore. I have to manually log out and in again to bring it back to a working state.
